
RedBull Signature Series - Broadcast and Promotion Material
As a creative Director I was able to guide the creative process to create a visual representation of RedBull A-List, mind ripping action sports series, RedBull Signature Series. With 13 unique events ranging from full contact skating races, off road truck madness, killer surfing, epic mountain biking, back country snowboarding and technically obsurd skating. RedBull was the place to go if you needed a quick adrenaline rush. I wanted the broadcast package to feel the same.
RedBull and NBC were in the third season of what was now the most popular action sports show in the world. Viewership of their 13 unique sporting events was off the charts. Vogner and myself were approached with the challenge of creating broadcast content and promotion that was exciting as the events the viewer was watching. The thesis behind the design was diving into the thoughts and calculation of the athletes as the prepare and then the explosions of creativity, strength, lighting paced decision making and grace.
What resulted was a beautiful take on these interactions, content so engaging I was honored with an Emmy Nomination for Outstanding Broadcast Design. Check it out, it’s pretty rad.
